I am called to be a Christian wherever I am.

Grace is wild. Grace unsettles everything. Grace overflows the banks. Grace messes up your hair. Grace is not tame.

If you had the cure to cancer wouldn’t you share it? You have the cure to death: get out there and share it.

Kirk Cameron

I always think of this when people say “Why don’t you just keep your Christianity to yourself?” That’s the most selfish thing I could do.

Jesus is going to be the hardest choice you ever make. The moment you choose Him, the whole world turns against you. You’ll find yourself swimming upstream, fighting for your life, your soul, your salvation. There will be days of doubt, days of sorrow, and days of complete and utter failure. There will be days where you cannot even bear to be in your own flesh because you can taste your unworthiness on your tongue with every misdirected flash of rage and contempt.

Yet, Jesus is going to be the best choice you ever make. The moment you choose Jesus, He welcomes you into His strong & mighty arms. He calls you His beloved, His daughter, His son, His sister, His brother. The world turns against you, but the Creator of the universe is on Your side, cheering you along and picking you up when you fall. He fights the dark forces and teaches you more about yourself than any person, religion, or theory ever could. There will be days of pure, unadulterated joy! There will be days where you want to go out and praise God in front of your city! There will be days where you can barely stay within your earthly body, for your gratitude, praise, love, and excitement is so tremendous.

Jesus is going to be the hardest and best choice you ever make. What a wonderful dichotomy!
